Camogie

The first ever KTCS Camogie team won the Regional Junior Camogie Blitz on the 10th of April, beating all teams in their group and winning a Trophy for the school. They progressed through to the Leinster Finals Blitz which took place on the 8th of May. On Leinster final day the girls won all group games and qualified into the overall final. Unfortunately they lost the final game narrowly by 2 points after conceding a goal in the last minute of the Match. All girls battled hard and put in outstanding performances. The girls were presented with runner up medals and Aisling Lennon 3rd year was announced as Player of the Tournament, winning a personalised hurl for her efforts.
Congratulations to all Girls involved, huge achievement for the School.
Exciting times ahead for the development of Camogie at KTCS.

Hurling

While we are continuously trying to increase participation in Hurling, many students showed great commitment and passion to turn up at training and develop their skills on a weekly basis. We have not had sufficient numbers to enter competitions, however training is great fun and beneficial for all that have an interest. Sport is not all about entering competitions and winning, it is about self-discipline, comittment, building lasting relationships and keeping healthy. All incoming first years are welcome to join and expand their social circles.
