The day before the holidays marked a celebration of health and happiness in KTCS. Our first aid first responders received their certificates following three days of training. We now have 8 fully qualified first aid responders on the staff. They have been working hard to create a environment that provides top quality care for students who are in medical need. They recently held a non-uniform day and raised over €1300 to help buy a defibrillator and cabinate. They have also assigned a specific room that allows those in need of assistance to be cared for in private within a safe space.
It was also a day to celebrate those who have made our lives in KTCS more enjoyable. To mark the feast of St Valentines, many of the teachers were presented with single roses from students as a thank you for the kindness and support they have given to the students of KTCS throughout the year.
