Dear Parent/Guardians of 1st, 2nd & 5th years,
Your son /daughter will be commencing their Christmas exams in the school starting on Thursday 26th. We hope they are studying well and revising the work covered since September.
As you know Junior cycle students are taught study skills and study planning in their Wellbeing and SPHE classes. 1st years have also had study workshops delivered by our Meitheal leaders.
For all year groups, a study skills presentation given by the Guidance Counsellor is available on the school website for students. An additional 3 video clips have been uploaded focusing on specific study skills. We are recommending students use these resources to help them engage with their study and maximise their revision time.
In addition an excellent free webinar on goal setting, study skills and exam techniques is available for parents and students on

We hope students find these resources useful as they prepare for their forthcoming exams. If any parent has any concerns about study or exams, Parents/Guardians can contact the relevant Year Head, the Chaplain or Guidance Counsellor.
