Soccer skills
Two Acorn students recently received a certificate for Participation in PE. They had improve their team working, pace, dribbling, shooting, passing and goal keeping skills from September to October. Grant loves kicking the football up in the air. Dave says he has some power in his kick!
Ms O’Rourke presented the students with their certificates on Friday 26th October.

Car Valeting Mini Company

Grant and Josh, with the help of Mr Brosnan and Ms O'Grady, have set up a car valeting service in Kildare Town Community School. Every Thursday Grant and Josh clean the teachers cars. Grant takes out the mats and Josh hoovers the mats. Grant hoovers the inside of the car then they put the mats back in when they are finished. Dave drives the car back to the teachers car park.
Last term the boys made €38 profit. They went to Tesco and bought two DVDs, then they went to Costa for a treat.
