As a proud sporting county Kildare has produced some of the most successful athletes that have come out of this country. People such as: Anthony Rainbow and Johnny Doyle for GAA Football and Fergus Mc Fadden, Trevor Brennan and Jamie Heaslip for Rugby, illustrate the abundance of talent that Kildare has to offer. The love of sports in clearly evident in Kildare Town Community School with huge participation
in the Athletics Team.
Friday the 14th of October 2019 will add to the fantastic history of KTCS because it was the day that Kildare Farm Foods sponsored the athletics team for the extremely generous amount of €1,000.
In the picture are the team with Mr. Mc Evoy accepting the cheque from Dave Wilson who represented Kildare Farm Foods on the day.
