Congratulations to our 5th year student Lauren Dempsey Fitzmaurice who had a fantastic win in the EUBC European Junior Boxing Championship in Russia today. Lauren had a convincing win over a Russian opponent in the final. There was great excitement at Kildare Town Community School as we tuned in to watch the fight and medal ceremony. We are looking forward to welcoming Lauren back to KTCS and bringing home the Gold medal.
