In April 2019 Ms Delaney's and Ms Ryan's 2nd year higher level maths classes undertook a month long trial of the IXL maths programme and achieved great success. On 24th May they were presented with certificates earned.
A special mention to Kathlyn Thackaberry who completed over 1000 maths questions in the month.
IXL is a comprehensive maths review site with an unlimited number of practice questions in hundreds of skills - all of which are aligned to the national curriculum. IXL is designed to help students learn at their own pace. The website is adaptive and will adjust to the students demonstrated ability level. The site saves a student's results and tracks their progress as they work through the programme.
