Webwise Safer Internet Award

Congratulations to Ríona O'Connor and Aimee Murphy for being shortlisted for the Webwise Safer Internet Award for their promotion of safe internet in the school this year. Ríona and Aimee put in a large amount of work to deliver their safe internet classes to 1st years in the school. They plan to continue to support Safer Internet Day in the school next year.

The awards ceremony has been postponed for this year but the girls will be invited to attend the awards ceremony in Facebook HQ when this event does take place as a celebration of the work and effort they have put into their campaign.

We are very proud of the girl's achievement and the leadership they displayed while organising their Safer Internet Day campaign.
